Make a Will Month 2017

St Margaret of Scotland Hospice Make a Will Month: Monday 3 April-Friday 28 April 2017

We would like to once again bring to your attention our Venerable Mary Aikenhead Legacy Appeal, as we approach the Hospice’s Make a Will Month.

This Appeal is a Will-Making service we are operating to honour the Legacy of our Foundress.

Our Make a Will Month, which runs from Monday 3 April to Friday 28 April 2017, will see participating solicitors in Clydebank and Glasgow offer to Make a Will at a special rate with the fee being donated to St Margaret of Scotland Hospice.

Please click here to see our list of participating solicitors.

Last year, our Foundress Mary Aikenhead was declared Venerable by Pope Francis.

The recognition was particularly poignant because 2016 marked the 200th year since Mary Aikenhead founded the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity and began the work which continues today internationally – care of the poor and the sick.

We wish to ask you to consider honouring The Venerable Mary Aikenhead’s legacy and helping us to continue her work by leaving a gift in your Will.

The next part of the Hospice’s success story can be enhanced by your generosity. We would like you to know that the smallest of gestures can make the biggest difference to people’s lives.

We do hope that you can support this initiative. Thank you for considering this request and for your continued support and interest in the work of St Margaret of Scotland Hospice.
