Developing Emotional Resilience Course

Developing Emotional Resilience

Session One:The Great Exploration: Stress & Coping

In this first session, we shall explore the impact of what we do on who we are, which will involve the close examination of our coping bowl – both inside and out. Every day we are surrounded by varying levels of stress that splish and splosh around our bowl. In the main, we cope with these ‘life effects’ in our stride and bounce back with vigour and valour. But sometimes, just sometimes, we don’t.

Session Two:Managing Stress & Strain

In our second session we will remind ourselves of the science affecting and influencing the manifestation of stress from an holistic perspective. We are holistic beings, therefore the impact of stress and strain will affect our physical, emotional, spiritual and social self, which whether we wish to admit it or not, will bear unintentional consequence on those around us – our family, friends, work colleagues and wider community.

Session Three:Talking Tips & Tactics

In our third and final session we will reflect upon what we have explored, learned and realised. We will do this whilst constructing our individual frameworks of resilience which will involve identifying what works for us to make us the flexible, agile, bouncing self we wish to be!
Voila!

Peace… It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart
