I recently went from one very fit and healthy
man to one extremely ill individual. This must surely be
an indication that we must never in the future take our health
for granted.
After months of treatment I entered St. Margaret of Scotland
Hospice to begin symptom management. I went through stages
of total despair to the determination to cope with what fate
has in store for me. All this courage was given to me by
the wonderful medical, nursing, and all staff involved at
St. Margaret of Scotland Hospice. |

I shall be leaving here soon,
happy in the thought that I have found that which must after
all be comparitively unusual, a place where total unselfish
goodness prevails.
This work must continue, it should be available to any patient
who may need it.
