Our Hospice Physicians

The Hospice is served by two Palliative Care Consultants, Professor Welsh and Professor Marie Fallon, and a Consultant Geriatrician, Dr Spilg, who are part of a dedicated medical team of physicians which includes Dr Barratt and Dr Haworth. This team is committed to the medical care of the patients 24 hours a day. They work closely with the nurses and are valuable members of the multidisciplinary team. Our physicians respond very quickly to the changing needs of the patients and are dedicated to ensuring patients needing admission such as in an emergency situation are admitted at the time the patient requires it. The doctors embrace the Mission Statement and Core Values. This is always reflected in their work with patients and team members.
